Jessica L. Gustafson - Experienced New York Lawyer

JESSICA L. GUSTAFSON is one of the founding partners at The Health Law Partners, P.C. Ms. Gustafson specializes in representing hospitals, health systems, hospices, home health agencies, physicians, and other healthcare providers and suppliers in a variety of legal matters within the healthcare industry. A significant focus of her work involves advocating for providers in the Recovery Audit ("RAC") and Medicare audit appeals process. She also provides guidance to clients on compliance and reimbursement issues, managing overpayment refunds, navigating Medicare enrollment procedures, and addressing other regulatory healthcare concerns. Ms. Gustafson is an active member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the Health Law Section of the American Bar Association, and the Health Care Law Section of the Michigan Bar Association. She plays a key role within the ABA Health Law Section, serving as the Co-Chair of the Membership Committee and a Vice-Chair of the Editorial Board for the publication ABA Health eSource. Additionally, she is a member of the Advisory Board for the American College of Physician Advisors. During her time in law school, Ms. Gustafson served as a Senior Articles Editor on the Wayne Law Review Editorial Board and gained valuable experience as a judicial intern for the Honorable Robert H. Cleland at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
