Biography
Alena Shautsova gained admission to practice law in the United States in 2008. Originating from Belarus, she completed her studies with distinction at a renowned law school in the former USSR. Following her graduation in Belarus, she delved into the field of business law while concurrently pursuing a second degree in Economics and Management. Alena's mother tongue is Russian. In 2005, she was granted a prestigious Eduard S. Muskie scholarship by the US Department of State, enabling her to earn a Master's Degree in Law from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Post her graduation from Case Western, Alena undertook an internship with the United Nations NGO Global Action on Aging in New York. In 2007, she successfully passed the New York bar examination. At present, Alena specializes in Civil Law, Employment Discrimination, Immigration, Personal Injury, and Class Actions. She is an active member of the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
