Biography
Trained as an insurance coverage lawyer who immersed himself in William Safire's "On Language" column in the New York Times while growing up in the northern parts of New Jersey and Rockland County, New York. Specializes in insurance coverage analysis and litigation, first-party property disputes, fraud and arson defense representing various property and casualty insurers on both statewide and regional levels. Has a proven track record of successfully litigating and trying numerous cases involving insurance fraud and coverage for insurers, from trial through appeal in New York. Regularly writes and speaks on topics such as social media/connected device data investigations, as well as various issues concerning insurance coverage, fraud, “bad faith” claims, and the investigation and defense of both first- and third-party claims. Prefers fishing over golf, but enjoys both activities. Received a bobblehead from his law partner as a Christmas gift, which is deemed the ultimate avatar. No vocabulary was injured during the crafting of this biography.
