Biography
Monica Yanna Balyasny is a licensed lawyer practicing in Florida and New York. She is proficient in both the English and Russian languages. Ms. Balyasny completed her undergraduate studies at John Jay College, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice in 2012. Subsequently, she relocated to South Florida to pursue her legal education at Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor degree in 2018. During her time in law school, Ms. Balyasny specialized in Health Law and actively engaged in various extracurricular pursuits at Nova. She served as a representative for the Jewish Law Society Association and was a member of the "Pulse" Health Law Society. Apart from her academic commitments, Ms. Balyasny contributed to her community through involvement in organizations such as the Jewish National Fund and the Jewish Federation. Throughout her legal education, she gained practical experience in diverse areas of law, including immigration and criminal defense.
