He served in Baghdad, Iraq, and Bahrain, earning accolades such as the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and numerous personal and campaign medals. Following his military tenure, Matthew pursued his love for history, acquiring a Bachelor’s Degree from Syracuse University.
