With 15 years of experience instructing forensic science at the university level following the completion of an M.S. in forensic science from the University of New Haven, Theonie Makidis transitioned to earning a Juris Doctorate from Touro Law. Following admission to the New York State Bar, Theonie commenced her career at the Suffolk County Legal Aid Society before establishing an independent practice in Bohemia, NY.
