Biography

Adam departed a law practice in Manhattan and became a member of Kohan Law Group in 2019. He brought with him his expertise in all facets of commercial and residential real estate litigation and negotiation, specializing in landlord-tenant conflicts, along with general commercial litigation. Adam also possesses proficiency in various other legal areas, including civil litigation and transactions, such as personal injury, medical malpractice, matrimonial, and trust and estate litigation. Adam has managed cases in all five boroughs of New York City and Nassau and Suffolk counties, including appellate courts. Known for his comprehensive legal knowledge and practical approach to conflict resolution, Adam has built a reputation for being pragmatic. Recent highlights of Adam's career include being featured in the New York Law Journal for successfully arguing in favor of a late notice of claim against a municipal entity during the COVID-19 period. He has also conducted Continuing Legal Education (CLE) courses for the Nassau County Bar Association and Queens County Women’s Bar Association, addressing recent developments in landlord-tenant law, the impact of COVID-19 on landlord-tenant matters, procedures, and dispute resolution, as well as force majeure and commercial leasing strategies in a post-COVID world.
