Alexander Paykin - NY Lawyer Dictionary Profile

I am a first-generation Russian immigrant, a technology enthusiast, a real estate investor, a business owner, and even a culinary enthusiast. After moving from the Soviet Union in 1989 and residing in four different countries in that same year, I matured quickly. In fact, I established my first venture in Italy when I was just 8 years old. More recently, I have held positions as a manager and regional trainer in the automotive industry, CEO of an IT company, and CEO of a financial management company. Subsequently, I transitioned into a legal career... My diverse life experiences have equipped me with a deep understanding of various mentalities, cultures, and perspectives, enabling me to effectively advocate for a wide array of complex issues. My business background allows me to offer insights beyond those of a typical corporate attorney; I can empathize with my clients from a businessperson's standpoint rather than just a legal perspective... Since 2008, I have worked as an associate at a specialized firm, operated a solo practice, served as managing director of a small law firm with three attorneys, and then returned to solo practice. Currently, my practice predominantly focuses on commercial and real estate matters, with an equal emphasis on litigation and transactions. In my free time, I am actively engaged with my local Rotary Club and Rotary District. I have previously served as President of my Rotary Club, Chair of the IT Committee for the Rotary District, Member of the Rotary District PR Committee, member of the Rotary District Conference Committee, and Conference Registrar. Additionally, I am the Rotarian Advisor to the Kings Park High School Interact Club and serve as the Attorney Coach of the Ezra Academy High School Mock Trial Team, which is part of the New York State Bar Association's Youth & Citizenship Initiatives. I volunteer my time by sitting on the boards of three 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations.
