Biography
With over three decades of legal experience starting in 1982, my legal practice in White Plains is centered around real estate transactions, land-use and zoning laws, personal injury litigation, not-for-profit and religious corporations law, business transactions, mediation, and arbitration. I cater to a diverse clientele including individuals, developers, property and business owners, buyers and sellers, as well as not-for-profit organizations in the Hudson Valley and Metropolitan Area. During the initial 18 years of my career, I specialized as a trial lawyer and managing attorney at a boutique firm in New York City, specializing in personal injury cases, notably medical/dental malpractice claims and traumatic brain injuries. My dedication to community involvement is a core principle that I cherish. Actively engaged in community and civic initiatives, I currently serve on the Village of Rye Brook Ethics Committee, and hold a position on the Board of Directors of the Westchester Jewish Council where I lead the Combating Racism Committee. Previously, I fulfilled the role of Rye Town Prosecutor and was elected for three consecutive terms as a Trustee of the Blind Brook School District, Board of Education, with a two-year term as its President. Throughout my nine-year tenure on the Board of Education, I managed the development of operational budgets exceeding $40 million and multiple facility construction projects each valued at over $15 million.
