Biography
Mike is an Associate at Tully Rinckey PLLC. He is a proud graduate of Albany Law School, where he obtained his Juris Doctorate and excelled as a distinguished student. Throughout his time in law school, Mike focused on Estate planning, achieving honors and graduating cum laude in his class. Prior to his legal studies, Mike gained diverse experience in various legal domains. His most recent role was at the Federal Highway Administration, where he handled motions in Federal court related to environmental law and labor law. At the Appeals Board of the Department of Motor Vehicles, Mike evaluated individual appeals and prepared decisions for approval. Moreover, Mike completed internships at two esteemed local offices. At the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, he delved into cutting-edge areas of environmental law in the state. During his tenure at the Schenectady County Public Defenders Office, Mike handled a range of misdemeanor cases and gained hands-on experience in a bustling court system. Mike earned his B.A. from Union College, majoring in English literature with a minor in German. He also studied German and architecture in Vienna, Austria, as part of an abroad program. Following his undergraduate studies, Mike obtained a Graduate Certificate in Foundations in Business from the University of Massachusetts. While a student, Mike served as a full-time ski coach, leading one of the largest Freestyle ski teams in the nation and receiving the Eastern Division Rookie Coach of the Year award in 2005. He was also elected as the National Athlete Representative to the National Freestyle Sports Committee.
