Biography
Ryan P. Bailey specializes in civil litigation and handling complex personal injury cases. He recently rejoined the practice following his term as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of Schenectady. While at the City of Schenectady, Mr. Bailey provided legal advice to the Corporation Counsel, department heads, and the City Council on various civil issues such as personal injury claims, contract disputes, tax assessments, and environmental regulations. In his capacity, he drafted legal documents, negotiated settlements, and played a key role in the City’s Planning Commission.Mr. Bailey has represented a diverse range of clients including individuals, insurance firms, construction companies, licensed professionals, and local governments. He has litigated cases in the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York and has authored legal briefs for the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and the New York State Supreme Court Appellate Division.Mr. Bailey is dedicated to advocating for individuals who have sustained serious injuries in motor vehicle accidents and possesses a comprehensive understanding of New York State’s No-Fault Law.He actively engages in community service initiatives and philanthropic endeavors. His commitment to public service was recognized through his involvement in Americorps, where he received the Presidential and Congressional Volunteer Service Award.
