Biography
John Naizby was raised in a quaint rural town in upstate New York. He grew up with his sister, mother, maternal grandparents, and great grandmother; he lost his father at the age of three. John discovered early on his desire to assist individuals in need, which ultimately led him to pursue a career in law. Commencing his professional journey as a public defender, he later transitioned to serving as an attorney specializing in insurance defense. However, for the past two decades, John has devoted his practice solely to advocating for individuals (rather than Insurance companies). A distinguished graduate and senior educator at the Trial Lawyers College, John has been honored as a Connecticut Super Lawyer from 2006 to 2017. He remains committed to aiding individuals impacted by personal injuries resulting from negligence. Recognized for his unwavering commitment and effort, John has been bestowed with the America’s Top 100 Attorneys Lifetime Achievement Award. He is a respected member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) and holds memberships in both the Million Dollar Advocates Forum and the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum. John has been a Board Certified Civil Lawyer since 2000. With a track record of trying over 50 cases to verdict and overseeing numerous litigations, his portfolio includes diverse cases such as connective tissue issues, medical malpractice, intricate construction site accidents, negligent security claims, hospital negligence, nursing home abuse, wrongful death, traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, product liability claims, sexual abuse cases, motor vehicle collisions, and tractor-trailer accidents. Throughout his career, John has had the privilege of representing individuals and families, including those who have suffered the loss of loved ones. He treasures the relationships and bonds he has formed over the years. John's ability to empathize with his clients' experiences has enabled him to effectively convey their narratives to the juries he has appeared before and to articulate the profound impact on his clients' lives.
