Previous Litigator for New York State Attorney GeneralPeter W. Kolp, P.C. possesses more than 23 years of experience in courtroom proceedings as a litigator, civil advocate, and criminal defense lawyer. He held the position of Assistant Attorney General of New York State from 2007-2013 and prior to that, he worked as a Senior Assistant District Attorney in the prominent Rackets Division of the Brooklyn District Attorney’s office from 2000-2007. As a litigator, he led the legal team in over 25 serious crime trials related to financial crime, insurance deception, consumer exploitation, arson, and organized crime. In his role as a legal representative, he has handled over 50 civil trial cases and serves as trial counsel for several law firms, securing numerous million-dollar verdicts in personal injury and accident cases in New York, Bronx, Queens, and Brooklyn.
