Biography
I am a seasoned attorney in New York specializing in Probate Law with a unique ability to break down complex Estate legalities into simple terms for my clients to grasp their circumstances and how I can assist them in achieving their legal objectives. I provide legal representation to individuals whose assets and interests fall under the purview of New York's Estate laws. Additionally, I serve as a Court Appointed Part 36 Fiduciary in Supreme and Surrogate's court. With a background as a composed litigator (and former prosecutor), I am skillful and pragmatic in advocating for my clients, whether inside or outside the courtroom. I earned my Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law while working at Martin, Clearwater & Bell. I further honed my legal expertise through positions at the Legal Aid Society, under The Honorable Randall T. Eng, the Fordham Tax & Consumer Litigation Clinic, and the Law Offices of Frank Handelman. Post law school, I sharpened my litigation abilities during my tenure as an Assistant District Attorney for the Honorable Robert T. Johnson (Bronx) and subsequently in association with reputable, successful, and assertive litigation firms. In 2010, I founded my private legal practice focused on Probate, Estate Administration, Estate Litigation, and Estate Planning Law. I hold admission to practice in various courts, including the United States Supreme Court, United States Tax Court, United States District Court Eastern District, United States District Court Southern District, United States Bankruptcy Court Eastern District, New York Court of Appeals, New York Appellate Division, New York Surrogate's Court, New York Supreme Court, and all other New York State Courts. I am recognized for my empathetic approach as a legal practitioner who: (1) elucidates the Surrogate’s Court proceedings to my clients and (2) ensures the proper handling of their estate affairs.
