Brian Zimmet - Profile Page

Brian J. Zimmet earned his bachelor's degree from Syracuse University in 1989 before graduating with high honors from Touro Law School in 1992. He served as an editor of the Moot Court and was honored with the John S. Bainbridge award for his exceptional advocacy skills. During his time in law school, he worked as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Vincent R. Balletta of the Supreme Court, Appellate Division. Mr. Zimmet represents a diverse range of clients, with a focus on real estate transactions, probate matters, wills, trusts, and estate planning. He has been a featured speaker at seminars covering estate planning strategies and estate administration. He provides clients with guidance on legal, financial, and practical issues that impact their daily lives. Drawing on his extensive background, he approaches his clients' challenges with a keen understanding and a zealous advocacy. Mr. Zimmet is licensed to practice in the state courts of New York and New Jersey, as well as the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is an active member of the New York Bar Association, where he contributes to the Real Estate Law and Trust & Estates Law sections. Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Zimmet is involved in various organizations dedicated to promoting American interests both at home and abroad, including the National Committee on American Foreign Policy, Washington Institute of Near East Policy, the Israel Policy Forum, and the Council for Citizens Against Government Waste. He also serves on the Board of Directors of his cooperative apartment building in New York City, where he resides with his family.
