Biography
With over three decades of experience, Andrew D. Brodnick has specialized in real estate, land use, and commercial litigation. His legal expertise covers a wide range of cases, including adverse possession, title disputes, boundary disputes, contractor disputes, contracts of sale, landlord/tenant matters, foreclosure, reformation, condominium and cooperative law, partition, and constructive trust cases. Andrew has also successfully handled employment law actions, collection cases, general commercial and civil rights cases, as well as bankruptcy and surrogate's court matters.
Between 2005 and 2011, Andrew was the general counsel at Camarda Realty Investments (CRI) in Carmel, N.Y., a prominent real estate investment company in the Lower Hudson Valley. During his tenure at CRI, he managed all legal affairs for the company, including transactional work, land use issues, and commercial litigation. Andrew is a published author on real estate topics in the New York Law Journal and New York Real Property Law Journal. His insights have also been featured in The New York Times. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Boston University and obtained his Juris Doctor from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in NYC, where he was a distinguished member of the Law Review.
Active in the legal community, Andrew is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Real Estate Section of the New York State Bar Association. Alongside his legal career, Andrew and his wife, Bonni, have resided in Westchester, N.Y. for three decades. A dedicated community member, he served on the Pound Ridge Planning Board from 1996 to 2013 and was a valued member of the Pound Ridge Lions Club for a decade, including a term as the organization's president. Additionally, Andrew contributed his expertise to the Board of Directors of the Pound Ridge Library Foundation.
