Biography

Robert A. O'Hare Jr. is a co-founding partner at O’Hare Parnagian LLP and leads the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. With over two decades of experience, Robert commenced his legal journey by handling intricate business and corporate litigation at renowned national and global law firms. Presently, he continues to engage in high-stakes business disputes. However, upon establishing O’Hare Parnagian in 1999, Robert pivoted to advocating for individuals who have suffered severe injuries or fatalities due to the misconduct of others, predominantly in response to requests from the firm’s clients and Robert’s peers in the broader legal community. By leveraging his esteemed business acumen and expertise in commercial litigation towards cases of serious injury and wrongful death, Robert has secured millions of dollars in compensation for injured individuals in New York.

In addition to Robert’s exceptional litigation background and education, he brings a diverse real-world perspective to his representation of injured clients and their families. Prior to entering the legal field, Robert served in the New York City Police Department as a police officer and sergeant. He was a part of New York City’s Emergency Medical Service and, for numerous years, worked as an emergency medical technician for the largest volunteer ambulance service in New York. Through these roles, Robert directly witnessed how injuries resulting from the wrongful actions of others can irrevocably alter an individual’s life. He also gained a profound appreciation for the unwavering dedication that police officers and first responders demonstrate towards the communities they serve, fostering a deep respect for these individuals in service. Robert is committed to utilizing his background and legal expertise to assist those harmed in the line of duty in obtaining just compensation for injuries caused by the negligent or wrongful acts of others.
