Biography
With almost 30 years of legal experience, Michael S. Levine was admitted to various state and federal bars in 1985, including those of New York and New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He completed his undergraduate studies at Hobart College in 1979, where he excelled as a Dean's List student and led the tennis team as captain. Michael obtained his J.D. from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 1983. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Suffolk County Bar Association, actively participating in the Grievance Committee and Judicial Screening Committee. Additionally, he is affiliated with the American Association of Justice and currently holds the position of President at the New York State Trial Lawyers Association (NYSTLA). Michael has been consistently recognized as one of New York's leading lawyers in the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register since 2005, and has received accolades as a top attorney in the New York metro area and as a Super Lawyer by New York Magazine since 2010. In 2013, Michael was lauded as the "Man of the Year" by United Cerebral Palsy of Suffolk County and was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame of his high school.
