Mark R. Basile commenced his legal career at Shea & Gould in New York City and has since represented small publicly traded firms in securities and corporate finance litigation in state and federal courts nationwide. Mr. Basile achieved a groundbreaking ruling (2021) for small public entities in the New York Court of Appeals, affirming that specific corporate financing mechanisms are subject to criminal usury laws in NY. Additionally, Mr. Basile serves as a Law & Entrepreneurship Professor at The Jacob D.
