Biography

Julie Globus graduated with distinction from Skidmore College with a dual BA in Government and Philosophy in 1991. She then completed the One-Year Program with a scholarship from The Hebrew University of Mt. Scopus in Israel. During that period, Julie assisted a history professor in translating Aramaic texts from Elephantine Island. Subsequently, in 1992, Julie was awarded a scholarship from Hebrew University to pursue her Masters degree while serving as a research editor at the Maurice Falk Institute of Economic Research in Israel. Julie obtained her MA with honors in Political Theory in 1995, primarily conducting research in Hebrew. In 1997, she received her Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School in Newark. In 1998, Julie returned to Israel to work as a foreign legal consultant and began her certification process to become a Trustee in Bankruptcy under Israeli Law. While in Israel, Julie was involved in various business transactions in London, Israel, and Egypt, as well as collaborative deals between Israel and Jordan. Julie relocated to the U.S. in 2001 to join Mandel, Katz, Manna and Brosnan (now known as Mandel, Katz and Brosnan) as an associate. In 2004, she partnered with Rohit Sabharwal to establish HSG, which evolved into Sabharwal, Globus & Lim LLP in 2006 upon Stan Lim's addition as a partner.
