Biography

With more than three decades of experience, I have specialized in handling cases related to Social Security and SSI disability claims, as well as disability claims for various public benefits including teachers, police officers, state troopers, firefighters, corrections officers, and other state and municipal employees. Prior to entering the legal field, I served as a Social Security Disability Analyst for medical adjudications and as a Social Security Claims Representative for nonmedical claim adjudications. I was granted admission to the New York State Bar in 1986. Initially, my legal practice focused on civil trial practice, particularly in domestic relations. However, in 1988, I took on my first Social Security Disability client and have since dedicated my career to this area of law. I am licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York, where I have achieved numerous favorable court decisions for my clients. Additionally, I am authorized to appear before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, where I have successfully presented appeals, as evidenced by the case reference 905 F.2d 654 (2d Cir. 1990). As an active member of the bar association, I have conducted continuing legal education seminars on topics within my field of expertise and have been called upon as an expert witness in civil litigation matters. Furthermore, I have contributed my legal skills to assist nonprofit organizations such as the National MS Society.
