Biography

Jenice L. Malecki is a renowned securities lawyer and the founder of Malecki Law. She is a successful and assertive litigator with a uniquely broad background representing a multitude of investors and industry professionals. Ms. Malecki’s tenure as a New York securities lawyer commenced in class action litigation, where she worked on the well-known class action lawsuit In re Crazy Eddie. During the 1990s, she advocated for numerous broker dealers entangled in "boiler room" stock fraud cases and the legacy of the actual Wolf of Wall Street. She has served as the Vice-President on the board of the PIABA Foundation, dedicated to investor education, and has held positions on the board and as a member of PIABA (Public Investor Arbitration Bar Association). Additionally, she has acted as a FINRA arbitrator and chairperson, and is a trained mediator. In 2015, she was appointed to and currently serves on FINRA’s National Arbitration and Mediation Committee (NAMC), which provides counsel to FINRA’s Board of Directors. Apart from her outstanding legal track record, Ms. Malecki also serves as a consulting expert, engaged by other securities litigators, such as in the case of Ontonimo (OMO) Limited vs. BNP Paribas Securities Corp. (resulting in a $16.6 million FINRA award in 2015). She has been qualified as a testifying expert at FINRA with successful outcomes and is a trained mediator. She has made multiple appearances on national television discussing securities matters and has been the recipient of various accolades. She is a frequent speaker at the Securities Experts Roundtable, the Practising Law Institute, the New York City Bar Association, the New York County Lawyers Association, and PIABA’s year-end conference.
