Laurie B. Kazenoff is a partner at Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP and serves as Co-Chair of its Tax Practice Group. With more than three decades of experience in Tax Controversy, she has held various roles such as a Senior Attorney with IRS Chief Counsel handling litigation in the U.S. Tax Court, an Estate Tax Attorney at the IRS Estate and Gift Tax Division, a Senior Manager in Tax Controversy at Anchin LLP, a nationally recognized accounting firm, and as an attorney in private practice. Her practice focuses on tax disputes with the Internal Revenue Service and New York State Department of Taxation, representing individuals, estates, partnerships, and corporations. This includes advocacy before the Examination, Appeals, and Collection Divisions, litigation in the United States Tax Court, and the Federal Court of Claims. Ms. Kazenoff addresses a wide range of issues such as Payroll tax, Responsible Person assessments, Employee/Independent Contractor matters, New York State Residency, and Sales & Use Tax concerns.
