Biography

Serving as a tax lawyer at Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP, my primary responsibility involves providing guidance to clients on strategies to minimize tax obligations and mitigate the risk of incurring additional taxes and fines. I offer counsel to our corporate clients on a variety of intricate transactions, including triangular mergers, spin-offs, and stock-for-stock acquisitions. Additionally, I support our corporate clientele in addressing complex planning matters, such as evaluating opportunities for new markets tax credits, preparing opinion letters, and facilitating the sale of businesses and assets. My expertise aids clients in steering clear of civil and criminal tax penalties throughout the entire process, from audit proceedings to court trials. I have represented clients during audits conducted by both the IRS and the New York State Department of Taxation and Finance.
