Biography

Jonathan D. Warner is a founding partner and the managing director at Warner & Warner, PLLC located in Albany, New York. Jonathan specializes in Consumer Bankruptcy Law, Foreclosure Defense Law, Consumers’ Rights Law, and providing assistance with Mortgage Modifications. Before pursuing his legal career, Jonathan graduated with high honors and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa at SUNY Albany in 2007. He later completed his legal education at Michigan State University College of Law in 2011. During his time in law school, Jonathan was actively involved in the Jessup International Moot Court Team, held leadership roles in two student organizations, and served as the Senior Research Assistant at the law school’s Low Income Taxpayer Clinic. Jonathan also gained valuable experience as a summer judicial intern at the U.S. District Court and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of New York, working under Hon. Lawrence E. Kahn and later under Hon. Robert E. Littlefield, Jr. Jonathan is deeply committed to offering pro bono legal services to the residents of the Capital Region. His dedication to pro bono work was acknowledged when he received the 2014 Kurt Clobridge Memorial Award for Pro Bono Service from The Legal Project. Jonathan has also been recognized with the 2013 and 2014 Top Contributor Award by Avvo.com. In his free time, Jonathan cherishes moments with his wife, Meg, and their two pampered felines, Master and Margarita. When away from the office, Jonathan indulges in reading, hiking, and motorcycle rides.
