Biography
Tara Mayerhofer, Esquire, was licensed to practice law in the state of New York in 2006. She earned her Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University Law School situated in Jamaica, New York. Before completing her studies at St. John’s, she pursued her undergraduate degree in sociology at SUNY Stony Brook, graduating with high honors.While attending Law School, Tara served as a legal assistant to Judge Debra Urbano-DiSalvo, a presiding criminal court Judge in Suffolk County. During her time with Judge Urbano-DiSalvo, Tara conducted comprehensive legal research on a variety of criminal law matters.Following her graduation from Law School in 2005, Tara entered the private sector and commenced her legal career at a firm specializing in criminal defense and traffic law cases. Throughout her educational and professional journey, Tara has maintained a strong focus on criminal law practice. Since 2005, Tara has successfully represented numerous clients seeking criminal defense representation.
